M121 - 75 hours The student is taught the identifying features, operating procedures and the transcription process of a transcribing machine. The student will have the ability to transcribe medical dictations (proof and correct errors) with complete accuracy and in correct format.Practice emphasis will be placed on speed and accuracy drills and using medical office simulations that include a portfolio of required output using, for example patient files, lab test requisitions medical correspondence, etc. Prerequisite: G004 and B241
